Job Activities
What you will do:
Provide leadership and support for ongoing worldwide implementation of Oracle EBS. The individual must have good knowledge and understanding of standard Oracle EBS API’s and Oracle 12c., be able to evaluate proposed designs and develop technical solutions including the coding and unit testing. Role may also include production support, enhancements, and future project-based work.
Position necessitates excellent technical skills in financial and manufacturing modules, – Invoice, Bill of Material, WIP, AR, General Ledger, OM, PRJ, and i-Supplier. You will review customizations, modifications, reports and workflows independently and as a team leader.
Candidate must be able to coordinate the work activities and schedules with other teams, communicate status and escalate issues or delays that would impact deadlines as early in the process and present workable solutions.
Design and develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows independently or as a part of a team.
Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards.
Code, unit test, implement and support these enterprise application solutions.
Use analytics skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
Cooperate with Team Lead to understand requirements, receive and follow guidelines for coding and testing standards, identify source data, and perform code reviews.
This Role has potential of Full Time Equivalency for the right candidate, founded on developing strong working relationships with other teams, providing skills and knowledge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Strong PL-SQL skills and Oracle Applications knowledge – minimum 5 to 10 years
- Advanced OAF (Oracle Application Knowledge) developing new complex OAF pages within Oracle EBS
- Updates and, where necessary, modifies the information management standards, policies, and guidelines including but not limited to security, asset management, information technology infrastructure, and network operations.
- Designs and develops highly technical architectural plans that include hardware, software, network data, and other dimensions to cover all aspects of information technology.
- Researches and develops efforts to ensure the effective implementation and function of new technologies within the current and future IT infrastructure.
- Develops and implements effective solutions that are both technically appropriate and pragmatic.
- Maintains currency with the newest technology trends and products available to serve the company now and into the future.
- Plans and oversees all major system upgrades.
- Prepares all required reports and correspondence.
- Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations
