Job Activities

What you will do:

  • Sales Manager / Team Leader is responsible for the oversight of the Sales Team.
  • Responsible for business development and managing the sales of the companies products within North America.
  • Ownership of planning, forecasting and meeting the financial goals profitability. 
  • Manages the successful integration of proposals to deliverables.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to sales team.
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Coach and mentor the sales team staff.
  • Be directly involved with the team’s progression opportunities.
  • Provide leadership within the organization, and review site installations.
  • Develop and identify objectives, strategies, action plans, to improve short and long term sales and earnings.
  • Support the management of Key Accounts through high quality interactions that expand the installation footprint at customer sites.
  • Lead the sales team expansion and growth in the five year plan. 
  • Manage the development of the contracting strategies, commercial terms for projects and finalizing the project contracts.

Candidate Description

  • 5+ years of direct experience in the sale of continuous condition monitoring equipment for reciprocating compressors or gearboxes, be located in the Houston (Webster), TX area
  • Has extensive contacts within the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries.
  • High energy, gregarious personality is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills to clearly communicate complex, technical material to wide audience levels is a must.
  • Technical background with experience in heavy industrial equipment (reciprocating compressors, complex gearboxes), and experience with machine protection and/or machine condition monitoring systems.
  • Self-motivated, has strong time management and organizational skills, develop and maintain high quality relationships that lead to repeat business
  • Willing to travel ~40-60% in North America as needed. The majority of travel will be along the Gulf Coast.
  • Pass drug and background checks
  • Has proven sales record
