Job Activities
What you will do:
This role is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and reporting key operational and financial data for the Capital Equipment business group. The applicant must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyze large data sets, implement process improvements and streamline manual processes. Ideal candidate is someone with good fundamental accounting/finance background, but super technical accounting is not necessarily required.
More importantly, we need someone who is familiar with or very open to learning Power BI or software tools like Alteryx someone who can streamline manual Excel processes and implement process improvements to make reporting and analysis easier.
This Role has potential of Full Time Equivalency for the right candidate, founded on developing strong working relationships with other teams, providing skills and knowledge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consolidate, analyze, and report operational metrics for all global locations
- Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reviews and reconciliations
- Document and perform all work in accordance with SOX
- Assist in monthly/annual financial forecasting and planning processes
- Comfort in communicating and presenting results to senior management across different departments and geographical locations
- Possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills – Ability to evaluate business processes and implement process improvement
- Respond to internal and external auditor requests
- Complete ad-hoc financial analysis and cost accounting projects as required
- Comply with all Company and HSE policies and procedures
- Good organization skills and intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills
- Good communication skills

- Excellent written and oral presentations
