Job Activities

What you will do:

We are looking for self–motivated achievers who take pride in their work as skilled tradesmen as a field / shop machinist to set up and operate, conventional, special purpose, OD mounted split frame flange facing equipment and typical fabrication and machining tools to fabricate precision metallic and non-metallic parts by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate Lathes, Vertical Lathes, Mills, Surface Grinders and Cylindrical Grinders
Set up portable machines accurately without assistance
Read and interpret blueprints
Use precision measuring equipment with high degree of accuracy
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance to machinery and equipment when required
Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and responsible manner
Comply with all HS&E policies, procedures, regulations and instructions
All other duties as assigned
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Experienced in parts fabrication and piping tubular and stainless.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as portability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must be eligible to work in USA.
Must have valid driver’s License and good driving record.
Must be able pass Drug Test and background, E Verify.
Proper & safe operation of machine tools, Lathes, Vertical Lathes, Mills and Grinders
Machine setup for any part in a timely manner
High degree of accuracy to required limits on all machined parts
High degree of accuracy using measurement equipment
Understanding and accurate use of blueprints and technical drawings
Perform high degree of quality in all machined parts
Maintain close tolerances up to .001”
